The Landestheater Linz and the Bruckner Orchester Linz are combined in the OÖ. Theater und Orchester GmbH (TOG). With more than 350,000 visitors and more than 800 employees, the company is one of the largest cultural institutions in Austria.

We are looking for a:n

ASSISTANT for the music theater from the 2024/2025 season:IN THE CHOIR DIRECTION (M/F/D)

Part-time 30 H

Your tasks include

  • Independently carrying out correspondence and managing the choir director's schedule

  • Organizational support for the choir director in all matters concerning the house, extra and children's & Youth choir (rehearsal planning, coordination with KBB, assistant director, tailoring and make-up department etc.).)

  • Collection and forwarding of all relevant information for the registration and deregistration of singers

  • Personnel data management of the extra and children's & youth choir

  • Collection of all necessary forms, confirmations and support for the KBB with applications for child employment permits

  • Contact person:in for the children's & youth choir, both for internal departments and legal guardians

  • Communication with the Landesmusikschulwerk in matters relating to the children's & youth choir

  • Billing for all employees:the in-house, extra and children's & youth choir in close coordination with the KBB and together with KBB contact persons:in all billing-related issues

  • Note administration and archiving for house, extra and children's & youth choir

  • Organization of auditions for house, extra and children's & Youth choir

Role/requirement profile

You offer us

  • A keen interest in theater and culture

  • Some relevant professional experience of several years in the field of organization, ideally in a cultural institution

  • Ideally experience in working with choirs or as a member of a choir

  • Organisational talent, sociability, team spirit and social skills (dealing with adults, children and young people)
