Singing teacher (m/f/d) for the Institute for Singing and Music Theater at the Franz Liszt School of Music

The Institute for Voice and Music Theater at the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar is offering a

teaching position for voice (m/f/d)

for the summer semester 2025 with a maximum of 8.75 teaching hours.

The courses in singing (major subject) are aimed at students of Bachelor's and Master's degree programs and are offered weekly in individual lessons.

The teaching rehearsals and personal interviews take place in Weimar/Belvedere. Travel expenses will not be
covered.

Please submit only copies and refrain from sending audio recordings, DVDs or similar (references to artistic presentations on the Internet are welcome), as the documents will be destroyed after the teaching position has been awarded.x

Prerequisites for the award of the teaching position are:

• A completed university degree in singing (diploma/ master's degree/ concert exam)

• Pedagogical aptitude, proven by relevant practical experience in higher education

• artistic excellence and experience in music theater and concert

• knowledge of repertoire and style across epochs

Persons with a teaching assignment have a legal relationship under public law with the Free State of Thuringia and work on a freelance or part-time basis. work on a part-time basis. The teaching assignment does not constitute an employment contract or civil servant relationship.
