The Warrens (working title) Casting Call Production language: English Wanted :Ed Warren Filming location: Thüringen & Rlp AGE:8-10 English description after German Bevor wir mit der Ausschreibung beginnen, möchten wir uns erst einmal vorstellen. Wir sind Tahlia, Max und Annika und haben gemeinsam das Filmprojekt The Warrens-The Story that came before ins Leben gerufen. Tahlia kommt aus der Schweiz und macht gerade ein Autoren Studium. Max macht eine Ausbildung im Bereich Mediengestaltung Bild und Ton ,hat selber schon einige Kurzfilme produziert und stand auch schon vor der Kamera. Annika ist ausgebildete Schauspielerin und wirkte auch schon bei einigen Projekten auf der Bühne und vor der Kamera mit. Aktuell suchen wir auch noch nach Verstärkung für das Team. Wir drei sind leidenschaftliche Künstler, sehr kreativ und uns ist ein gutes Miteinander und Spaß an der Arbeit sehr wichtig. In unserem Film soll um über Ed und Lorraine Warren gehen, welche die meisten wahrscheinlich aus den Conjuring Horrorfilm kennen. Die beiden waren Amerikas bekanntesten paranormalen Ermittler und haben mit Ihrer Arbeit vielen geholfen und mit Ihrer Geschichte einige berührt. Beinhalten soll der film natürlich auch Horrorelemente, im Fokus aber steht die Geschichte dieser beiden Menschen, welche von Kindesbeinen an wussten, "Wir sind anders als andere", bis zu dem Punkt, wo sie verheiratete waren und die Reise ihren Anfang fand. Infos: Wir starten das ganze Projekt als Low Budget Produktion. Wir haben uns schon Gedanken gemacht , wie wir Crowd Funding starten könnten.Dafür drehen wir als erstes einen Imagefilm/Teaser drehen, um das Projekt vorzustellen. Gerne würden wir den Film auf Amazon Prime veröffentlichen. Wir suchen noch einen jungen Darsteller für den “kleinen” Ed . Sein Charakter ist liebevoll,hilfsbereit und neugierig. Ed lebt zusammen mit seinen Eltern und seiner Zwillingsschwester in einem alten Farmhaus. Dort macht er in sehr jungen Jahren seine ersten Paranormalen Erfahrungen. WICHTIG: es gibt gruselige Szenen und Eine Szene mit einer Auseinandersetzung zwischen dem kleinen Ed und der verbitterten Vermietern des Hauses. Uns ist wichtig, dass die Kinder bei den etwas gruseligeren Szenen keine Angst haben, daher würden wir die Darsteller vorher mit einander bekannt machen, die Szenen durch sprechen und auch am Set eng mit euch zusammen arbeiten. Wir drehen in englisch und die Rolle des kleinen Ed’s hat viel Text , daher wären englisch Kenntnisse natürlich gut. Leider können wir momentan keine Gage zahlen aber für das Catering ist gesorgt. ________________________________________ The Warrens (working title) Casting Call Production language: English Wanted :Ed Warren Filming location: Rangen, France/France AGE:8-10 Before we start with the call for applications, we would like to introduce ourselves. We are Tahlia, Max and Annika and together we have created the film project The Warrens-The Story that came before. Tahlia comes from Switzerland and is currently studying to be a writer. Max is doing an apprenticeship in media design, has already produced some short films and has been in front of the camera. Annika is a trained actress and has already participated in several projects on stage and in front of the camera. Currently we are also looking for reinforcement for the team. We three are passionate artists, very creative and a good cooperation and fun at work is very important to us. Our film will be about Ed and Lorraine Warren, who most people probably know from the Conjuring horror movie. The two were America's most famous paranormal investigators and have helped many with their work and touched some with their story. The film will of course include horror elements, but the focus will be on the story of these two people who knew from childhood, "We are different from others," to the point where they were married and the journey began. Info: We are starting the whole project as a low budget production. We have already thought about how we could start crowd funding.For this we shoot first an image film / teaser shoot to introduce the project. We would like to release the film on Amazon Prime. We are still looking for a young actor for the "little" Ed . His character is loving, helpful and curious. Ed lives together with his parents and his twin sister in an old farmhouse. There he makes his first paranormal experiences at a very young age. IMPORTANT: there are creepy scenes and One scene with a confrontation between little Ed and the bitter landlords of the house. It is important to us that the children are not scared during the scarier scenes, so we would introduce the actors to each other beforehand, talk through the scenes and also work closely with you on set. We are shooting in English and the role of little Ed's has a lot of text , so English knowledge would be good of course. Unfortunately we can't pay a fee at the moment,for catering and fun on set is Safe :)
