For the 2025 season, we are looking for 250 motivated helpers throughout Germany to support us in making our vegetable patches for kids flourish. Together, we will ensure that children discover the fun of gardening and learn where their food comes from.
The "Vegetable patches for kids" project is designed for kindergartens and daycare centers and focuses on the topics of nutrition and responsibility. By planting a raised bed, the children are encouraged and empowered to take care of themselves and a balanced diet and to develop a sense of responsibility for themselves and the environment. The kindergartens and daycare centers receive practical support from their sponsor (local merchant).

Organizational matters:
- Project duration: 07.04.2025 to 30.06.2025
- Working days per week: up to 5 days, depending on agreement
- Working hours: approx. 8 hours/day (core time: 07:00 to 16:00, incl. break)

- All core aspects and organizational questions will be clarified in advance during a training course
- The training is an important basic requirement for the implementation of the project days
- Content guidelines will be provided
- The equipment for implementation will be provided; equipment management is part of your job
- The preparation and follow-up of the individual activities, soil and material planning as well as the weekly purchase of seedlings are part of your job
- Sprinters including fuel card will be provided for the duration of the project. Fuel card provided

Remuneration:
We work with our service partners on the basis of short-term employment
- Hourly wage: €18.50/hour, Overtime is remunerated
- Statutory accident insurance during assignments
- Driving time = working time

- 100% legally secure = no risk of bogus self-employment
- Payment of additional meal expenses (for overnight trips)
