Florian is blind, Kati is deaf.
'Between the Lines' tells their turbulent love story. They quickly learn to communicate with each other, but it takes a lot more time and empathy to learn to understand each other.
Milan Skrobanek's feature film debut illuminates the beauties and problems of every new love with great sensitivity. But also, of course, Florian and Kati's circumstances: growing up in a world designed for the sighted and the hearing.
The leading roles are played by David Knors and Cindy Klink. David and Cindy live with visual and hearing impairments not only in front of the camera, but also in reality.
Role: Techno club guests / jazz concert
On December 04, 2024, during the day, 2 scenes are filmed.
Scene 1: Kati is partying with deaf friends in a techno club. They can't hear the music, but they can still feel the bass. It's supposed to be a fun evening. But then an argument escalates between Kati and her deaf friend.
Scene 2: Florian's dream. Kati and Florian dance closely together at a jazz concert.
