I'm Nele and I'm studying Film Production in the 2nd semester at the SAE Institute. We produce our own short film and accompany it from the idea to the finished product.
Logline: When an old friend visits Marie, her illusory world collapses and she has to face the loss of her child.
As it is a student film, it is unfortunately a no-budget production.

Kerstin is Marie's old friend. She is 60 years old and grew up in a pragmatic and responsible family, which taught her early on to take care of others. She moved to a larger city to study to become a teacher and met Marie there, with whom she formed a close friendship. Her life took an orderly course: She got married, had a child and lived a stable life, even though she sometimes longed for more.
When Marie lost her son John, Kerstin was an important support, even though she often felt helpless. Over time, she focused on her own family, but remained close to Marie through visits for John's birthday. Despite the orderly facade, Kerstin carries the burden of never being able to fully help her friend and struggles internally with the feeling of not having done enough.
