Newcomer

Actor (m/d) as "father" for a student queer short film

Application phase closed
Job description

Hello, we are looking for an actor for a small part in a short film produced by students. It's a queer story from a small town.

The said extra role is the father of Jules and Maeve Scott, an old-fashioned, narrow-minded and also taciturn man who knows nothing about the non-binary identity of his "son" "Julius" and also has no idea of a queer world.

The film's logline:
When Jules Scott finds out that her little sister Maeve is taking part in a beauty contest that she doesn't fancy, the two decide to swap places.

The short film is directed by two students from the third semester of the SAE Institute in Leipzig. The duration of the film is about 12 minutes and the shooting period corresponds to 2 days, which is the week from February 10th to February 16th, exact shooting days are not yet fixed.

We are students, so we don't have a big budget, but we would help out with travel and accommodation as far as our resources allow. Catering on set will of course be arranged by us.

I hope for a good cooperation!
