We are a young and very committed team of 5 film students from all over the world who would like to realize the short film 'Yes, please' together with you.

Synopsis:
In a small but lively café, Per Sona, the stereotypical people pleaser, tries to win over his fellow human beings by imitating his surroundings.

In doing so, he loses himself bit by bit, but hopes to gain recognition and a sense of belonging. A fatal mistake leads to his long-awaited development.

In our film 'Yes, please' we want to point out the dangers of mirroring and how important it is to decide for yourself, regardless of what others decide. You should not neglect your own needs for the recognition of others. Afterall, the choice is yours.
So you should decide for yourself what is right and important.

This cinematic narrative explores the dangers of indecision and conformism in our society, especially in these uncertain times.

In today's world, reflective engagement with political and environmental issues and perspectives is crucial.

Our rather simple story highlights, on a fundamental level, the deep-seated urge to belong, but this is juxtaposed with the importance of self-determinism.

It is intended to provoke reflection on our own situation, and thus we seek to fulfill a significant scope and added value to which we are committed as filmmakers. And if YOU would like to participate as a filmmaker, please apply.

Synopsis
In a small, bustling café, Per Sona-a stereotypical people pleaser-desperately tries to win others over by mirroring their behavior. In doing so, he gradually loses sight of himself, all in pursuit of validation and belonging. However, a fateful mistake sets him on the path to a long-overdue transformation.

With Yes, Please, we aim to highlight the dangers of mirroring behavior and the importance of making choices for oneself, rather than basing them on others' expectations. It's a reminder not to neglect your own needs for the sake of validation. After all, the choice is yours. The film underscores the significance of self-determination and the courage to stand for what you truly value.

This story delves into the pitfalls of indecision and conformity in today's society, particularly in these uncertain times. Now more than ever, reflection on political, ecological, and personal perspectives is crucial. Through its simple narrative, Yes, Please examines the deep-rooted human desire for belonging, counterbalanced by the necessity for self-determination. We aim to inspire viewers to reflect on their own lives, creating a meaningful and lasting impact-a responsibility we hold dear as filmmakers.

If you'd like to collaborate and bring this vision to life, we'd be thrilled to hear from you!
